We’re creating Ecosafi, a newly launched brand based in Nairobi, Kenya committed to helping billions of people abandon their reliance on coal for cooking for a regenerative model that uses wood pellets instead. Because the pellets are sustainably sourced, packaged in recycled materials, and emit no carbon, they are the most sustainable fuel source available to Kenyans. The stoves are safe, and free to subscribing customers — and they’re paid for by corporate carbon offset credits. This business model not only provides a way for design to create a world-saving brand experience, it also creates a microeconomy for Kenyans to sell and use a sustainable solution within their communities. This cyclical model is what our managing director, Nick Barrett has coined “Regenerative Sustainability.” With similar approaches to sustainability, brands and their agency partners can do more than stop the bleeding. We can work with corporations to actually reverse the damage.

New elements & utilities were carefully choreographed to emphasize the monolithic impact of the newly-exposed structure. The subtle backdrop allows the immersive & colorful string art installation by our collaborator and local artist Annie Tull to take top billing, connecting the various work areas as a physical metaphor for the collaborative design process. Office Snapshots is the world's largest and most popular office design destination. Whether it’s being used for prototype creation or a photo shoot, there’s always someone in there getting their hands dirty. We have two types of 3D printers, a CNC machine, laser cutter, plus every mockup tool you can imagine, like foam core, hand tools, spray paint, and hot glue. The space is also open for anyone in the studio who wants to use it in their spare time for passion projects. We create a vision board for every project, which is larger scale than a typical product mood board.
