Payment of the application processing fee is required in order to submit an application, and the fee is non-transferable and non-refundable. UNC Charlotte's graduate students come from around the world and nearly every state in the US. With over 6,000 students living, working and pursuing their academic dreams here in Charlotte and online, we are proud to represent the diversity of a vibrant community and institution. First-year students applying for spring terms should apply no later than Nov. 1 and submit all documents by Nov. 15.

Ways to Apply for Admission

The Future 49er Portal allows prospective students to apply for undergraduate admission and the Levine Scholarship. If you are nominated for the Levine Scholarship in the fall of your senior year, you will complete the Levine supplemental application and receive updates through this portal. Follow the button below to create your Future 49er account and start an admission or Levine Scholarship application. We will consider many factors about your academic background, opportunities, accomplishments and activities – much of which is gathered from your application, transcript and essay(s). You can decide to submit standardized test scores if you think they add value to our review, or you can choose not to submit them if you want us to focus more intently on your high school record and other supporting documents. Our goal is for you to be able to electronically submit all of the necessary application materials, with the exception of the standardized test scores, at the time you submit the online application.

Please refer to the application requirements for additional information. The University reserves the right to withhold or rescind the admission of an applicant who fails to meet any of the requirements for admission at the time of matriculation. Similarly, the University reserves the right to cancel the enrollment of any student who fails to satisfy the requirements of admission after matriculation at UNC Charlotte.
